-SWAG and the Board of County Commissioners will be celebrating the reopening of SW 8th Avenue in Gainesville and the historic “connections” this reopened roadway with its new sidewalks will bring to our SWAG-area residents. On this long-awaited day, we also want to connect residents to community resources that can enrich people’s lives through the many opportunities each organization brings.

-The “Community Connections Celebration” is a resource fair in honor of the life and legacy of SWAG co-founder and visionary leader Joan Canton, and FDOH is going to participate by tabling at that event. It will be a fun festive day with food and drawings for prizes.

-We will be providing educational material on HIV prevention and offering free condoms and other goodies!
